DESCRIPTION |

ERRANZ (pronounced "errands") is a site in which people can post and apply for odd, one-off jobs and errands. Additionally, businesses and other organisations like clubs and associations are also welcome to use the site for posting jobs in customer service and service industry areas. Please note that ERRANZ is not about full-time senior / management / career-oriented roles.
Businesses may also apply for some of the jobs posted by people where appropriate.
Benefits of using ERRANZ include an easy way to find people to do jobs that you need done and being able to say what price you are willing to pay for said job. No job is too small to list in ERRANZ.

Since ERRANZ is about odd, one-off jobs and temporary, casual vacancies, jobs posted on the site will be about (but not limited to) things like:
Computers - software installation; Computers - hardware installation; Internet setup / trouble shooting; Tutoring; Lawn mowing; Gardening, landscaping, weed removal; House sitting; Baby sitting; Pet sitting and walking; Getting lifts to distant locations; Cleaning; Physical training (fitness/sports); Electronic installations; Car detailing; Running errands for incapacitated people and so on.
Businesses can post jobs for entry level, casual, temporary positions in fields such as customer service and service industry areas - such as hiring people to: hand out flyers, do surveys, cleaning, running stalls, doing promotions and even jobs such as waiting / waitressing in cafes, bars and so on.

LiSTEN is a discussion forum for the members of ERRANZ and CLEARANZ. It's free to post in LiSTEN. Individual members of ERRANZ choose a username when registering, which will be the handle they post under, in LiSTEN. Businesses post under their operating name in LiSTEN.
You cannot have an independent account in LiSTEN alone - only registered members of ERRANZ and CLEARANZ get an account in LiSTEN. Business and retailer members of ERRANZ and CLEARANZ are most welcome to post in LiSTEN.

CLEARANZ (pronounced 'clearance') is a site which features the latest flyers, newsletters and sale catalogues of various online and offline NZ retailers, so the general public can conveniently browse and search them in one central venue.
There is no buying or selling in CLEARANZ. But you can find a link to the website of each retailer whose catalogues or flyers we feature, so you can buy the listed items you see directly off their website.

ERRANZ, LiSTEN and CLEARANZ are proud to be powered by SMF or Simple Machines Forum, which is an open source and professional grade forum software. The design, graphics and writing for the 3 sites were all done by me. I customized the forums' layouts based largely on the smf custom theme 'Musiconica' that was developed by M3talc0re of Webtechnica. I'd like to extend my thanks to the talented and hard working team of smf for their incredible product and generosity of spirit, as well as m3talc0re for Musiconica.
